Workamping Resume

Our Story

The Mooney family is a traveling family of four a dog (Lilith) and a cat (Azura). We are collectively known as, the D20Nomads. We made the lifestyle change to full time RVing in the spring of 2015. We are a homeschooling, wide open adventuring, free-thinking kind of family who want to explore and experience the land around us. We are a younger family taking this journey and have learned so much about life we were missing before. We are always looking for new ideas and chances to grow, not only as people, but also our knowledge. The Mooney family enjoys all things geeky and sci-fi; from shows and movies to games of all kinds, we enjoy having as much fun as we can. We want to travel all around the country and eventually throughout Canada, Central, and South America.

We are willing and able to take on all kinds of work and certainly do not mind getting our hands dirty. Customer service, office work, hosting, and even a little maintenance and cooking are some of the skills we bring with us and are offering to you. We have also held management positions at an extremely busy and fast paced campground.

Michael – I spent five years in the Navy as part of the navigation team on a submarine. After leaving the military, I went on to get my teaching degree and taught in the Georgia public school system for three years before deciding to pursue alternative education positions and ideas. I have a passion for history and passing that passion on to others because it is important to know where we came from to understand where we are going. I am a jack of all trades and seem to learn new skills every day. Some of those skills include small carpentry jobs, minor plumbing and electrical, strong computer and customer service, outstanding attention to detail and organization.

Christi – I spent nine years in the Army National Guard working as a heavy equipment operator. I also worked in the construction industry as a purchasing agent, negotiating contracts and maintaining budgets for seven years. My strong budgeting skills can rival any bookkeeper. After the birth of our second child, I opted to stay at home with the kids. During this time, I became heavily involved in non-profit organizations working as an events coordinator and a children’s club director. I have a passion for crafting, especially working with polymer clay, crocheting, and dabbling in other creative mediums. My can do attitude is my strength and I use it everyday.

Trinity – Trinity is 15 years old. She has a passion for nature, animals, and drawing. She loves hiking through the woods or just hanging out in the RV watching movies, playing games, and creating digital art. She has accepted and worked her first job assisting her parents as a laundry clerk at a campground.

Avery – Avery is 13 years old. She loves anything logic oriented, especially puzzles and games. She is a soft spoken kid who loves helping others and playing games.

The Mooney family would love to help out and bring their ever expanding knowledge and experience to your location! Please contact us at d20nomads@gmail.com if you have any questions or need any further information. Thank you for reading about us and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
